No 9 Tilbury Cove is a luxury, ocean front villa for holiday rent on the NSW south coast for 8 people. It is at Culburra Beach, about 2.5 hours drive from both Sydney CBD and Canberra. It is about 20 minutes east of Nowra.

Views

It has "drop dead" cliff top views north along Culburra Beach to Crookhaven Heads and distant Black Head at Gerroa with a backdrop of hills. Most days dolphins can be seen swimming off the rock platform under the deck. At the right time of the year whales can be seen migrating north across the bay.

Beaches

It is one minute walk down to Tilbury Cove and Culburra Beach via private steps. Culburra Beach is patrolled. Warrain Beach is about three minutes walk across Penguins Head Road. It is also patrolled and is a popular surfing beach.

Behind Warrain Beach is Lake Wollumboola. Depending on the water levels you can walk around the shores of the lake to watch the various bird life including Black Swans, Grey Herons and Terns which nest on the beach.

Things to do

Culburra is on the mouth of the Crookhaven River and is well situated for visitors to fish, swim, snorkel and windsurf. There are three golf courses within a 20 minutes drive.

A short drive away are picturesque Kangaroo Valley, the antique shops of Berry, walking in Morton National Park and Pigeon House Mountain.

The area of Shoalhaven  has a wide range of attractions including  the vineyards at Coolangatta, Arthur Boyd's historic Bundanon and Greenwell Point where you can buy excellent local fresh prawns, oysters and black fish - a not so common delicacy.

At Nowra is the Albatross naval museum and an animal park.
